Hey guys, im new to the forums, but i've been lurking for about a year now. always been so impressed with the work i've seen and too ashamed of the stuff i do until now. This is a 2000 honda accord v6 coupe, metallic black, and pretty bad shape. actually, one of the worst cars i've ever gotten. But, thanks to Menzerna and Porter Cable, i've been able just about restore this car to showroom quality. However, i'm using this thread also as a critique session, cuz i still need help. Lemme know what you guys think! this car took me 8 or 9 hours of nonstop work with a 30 minute break.
Products:
Meg's Gold Class shampoo with sheepskin on top, microfiber on bottom/wheels
Meg's clay bar kit
Menzerna IP with yellow CCS pad
Menzerna FPII with white ccs pad
Klasse AIO/SG
Meg's quick int. spray, blue coral carpet cleaner, meg's plastx, 50/50 vinegar/sotners invisible glass
meg's grape jelly tire stuff idk the name.
i think that's all, so here are the pics:
Before:
long day ahead of me... (after initial rinse off)
paint closeup
the hood...^ and below
this is what i call the Problem Area. from pulling in and out of ice-coated garage... i would rather leave my car outside!
These are some during pics:
working on the Problem Area
got one panel done! on to the driver's side door...
yaay! visibility of scratches greatly reduced.
had to post this one, it's just a cool pic i thought
And here are some after shots... more coming soon from gf's camera. went back next day to take more pics. sorry some of these pics are blurry, i had shakey hands after holding my PC all day.
That's all for now, i'll have more either tonite or tomorrow of some nice daytime shots.
