My first Semi

Now this was a job, cleaning the 50 gal gas tank was a treat, not to mention the chrome exhaust stacks, good thing I didn't have to do the engine.

Looks like the kind of truck i will be driving in a few weeks. know all to well the in,s and out,s of kenworth bobtail. never had to polish one just keep it clean. which can be a pain with all the nooks and cranny's on the frame rail as well as the pumpkins and the suspension( i guessing air bag).

how did you get access to the tank? did you disconnect and drop it to the ground?

I'm curious myself too what you charged or if that's your rig.

Also, what products, procedures etc... did you do and use?? I cannot see anyone trying to use a PC on that thing. Rotary is almost a must have. But that's just me,,,,,,AR

It belongs to a customer whom I detailed a car for. Charged $300, which may be light, but he gives me lots of referrals. I used Meguiars fine cut with my cyclo first on the paint. Then car-brite speed glaze, finished with my sealant. The chrome I used auto magic #70, and I spray painted some of the frame with rubberized under coating paint. Time was 6/12 hours. Gary

thanks awesome work by the way

there is a local towning company here with an old kenworth looks like a early 80's to late 70's model that is in SAD shape i am hoping i can get to detail it just to see what i can do

i guess now all i can do is go and see if they will let me detail it i dont even know if they use the old rig anymore but it sits out their with their new shiny trucks and it looks sad

i know i cant make it perfect because i dont have a rotary but i could make it alot better than it is

Man, how many gallon of tire dressing you pour on dually?

It's powered by CAT or Cummins? 12speed Fuller?
