Dear all,

I'd like to start by saying hello. This is my first post. I am really enjoying all the posts I have been reading so far. So I'm not a total NOOB to detailing, but I am quite green in the whole scheme of things. A coworker/friend turned me on to his Zaino kit. Needles to say I was sold after I say his bran new BMW 335i in the sun. Even though it's silver I could tell a difference right off the bat. I also bought a new car that same month, a red VW Jetta Wolfsburg. The two paint finishes were great to compare one finish to the other. I followed in his advice and gave the new car a total polish. The "A Beautiful Show Car Finish in a Day! process.

So now after 6 thousand miles and cool weather coming I want to reseal her for the winter. I would repeat this process by hand but..... My local dealer scratched my passenger door in the process of replacing my window trim. The trim has had an etch like finish from day one. Kinda like water marks that wont come out(don't worry they are getting an ear full):furious:. One scratch is almost classified as a deep swirl scratch, and the other is in the clear coat enough to give me problems. So since I will be fixing the scratch, I need a little advice.

I have a 6 Ryobi.

Ryobi 6 In. Orbital Buffer - RB60K at The Home Depot

Should I Grab some new cotton and microfiber bonnets and run with it? I wouldn't think the buffer would hurt anything. Its too slow to burn the clear coat...I think. Or look into something new all together?

Thanks for reading.
