my first motorcycle detail

I was JUST now looking for a thread on detailing bikes. Please, tell us what processes and products you used, how long the whole job took, etc.

Charles

sprayed and wiped down chrome with meg's apc on wet bike
rinsed
washed with meg's gold class soap
rinsed
dryed off with air blower
polished paint with poorboy ssr1
polished chrome with mothers chrome polish
waxed paint with natty's paste

i'm not sure if this is the best process, i kinda just took it from ear....again this was my first time detailing a bike

took about 2 hours....

I like that first process of spraying megs apc on a wet bike. Hm, could this work on cars?

I don't know which Meg's APC Joe used, but the old APC+ recommended a dilution ratio of 64:1 to remove wax from vehicles.
I think it is a great product, but I don't think you will want to wash your car with it.
P21S and S100 have Total Car Wash(P21S), and Total Cycle Wash(S100), but they would be pretty pricey to spray down an entire vehicle. I have used the Total Cycle Wash on my motorcycles and on engine compartments with good results, but it uses quite bit of product.

i believe it was the new one.....i just got it for christmas from meg's detailer line.

i didn't now it removed wax that easily....i used at 10:1....this apc stuff is nothing to mess around with

That may not be the case with the new APC although the heavy duty(4:1), and light duty(10:1) dilution ratios seem to be pretty close to the ratios recommended for the older version of APC+.
