My First Ever Detail... Three Weeks Researching DetailCity

I'm trying to upload before and after shots of my first ever detail..

Have been reading and researching Detail City for the last three weeks. :dcrules Went out and bought myself a PC and a pad kit :jump . Followed the following steps:

Wash
Clay
Wash again
SSR2.5
SSR1.0
Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant

I had never detailed a car before and only reviewed steps on how to the past three weeks. After some tips and suggestions through Detail City, I went ahead and tried it myself, however, I can't get the upload to work. I just get a blank screen.

Now that is one great transformation. Was it a local priest that did the exorcism, or did you have to find a special one? Great job on that Camry. Looks like you really did your research.

Hmmm clarity to the paint. If you want to avoid the resizing issues, just resize all your images first to 800x600 and you should be good from there.

I think it took an Exorcist/Priest with a rotary to banish those hellish paint defects...great work :bigups

Nice!
Those brownstone house in the background.. It look like in Brooklyn, around Flatbush area?

Thanks guys.. I never thought it would so much work. I cannot imagine doing this strictly by hand. No way!

I used a PC 7424. Orange pad w/ SSR2.5 and then a white pad with SSR1.0. I spend over four three hours polishing (being a rookie I guess).

By the way, the brownstones are in the West Side of Manhattan. I worked on this detail right outside in a city block.

Cool, I work right smack down on the NBC Today Show studio(49st). Need a hand let me know :naughty

very nice work and 3-4 hours polishing is not out of the ordinary, but very typical:) ....where did you run the power cord from:confused: I hope not the fifth or sixth story :lol
