My Daily Driver seems Dull

Does anyone think it's possible to bring more luster out of the paint job on my '01 S-10?

I bought it brand new, and have religiously maintained it, the same process:

Mark-V Auto-Glow Wash and Wax

Clay Magic Clay Bar

Mark-V Krystal Kut

Mark-V IP-100

Mark-V IP-200

Pink Carnauba "502"

It just seems like the luster isn't there anymore, And it's unlikely that the paint is dead already. Maybe i'm just looking at it too hard.

What products would you suggest that might produce better results?

Well you look at your own car more than anyone elses and get stressed out by every little thing.

Looks great but it can be improved slightly with the right products and techniques. Some hand glaze would be perfect on that.

Clay-paint cleanse- SSR - Menz IP-FP- many layers of the right sealant combination. Wolfgang-four star-klasse-fmj etc

Makes most daily drivers look like 20 year old cars in comparison

Or hit it with 1Z polishes. I really like how they brighten up daily drivers. They seem to make the choice of LSP less of a big deal and more of a subtle tweaking of the overall look.

YOu can try the Mark V Glaze It. It will give you a little more depth than the IP 200. It can be a one step to replace the IP 200 / IP 100 combination you are using. The Glaze It doesn't last as long as the IP 100, but it will last for 3 - 4 months. It looks like you don't let your truck go that long between polishing anyway!

I'd also look at the Menzerna triplets ( new phrase) IP/FP/FMJ.

I'm not familiar with the products your using but what I am suggesting I have experience with.

IP will clean it up .. FP will burnish it and FMJ will suprise you with its depth and wetness on red.

So I understand correctly, the Glaze It product replaces the need for either IP products? Are there any advantages/disadvantages to using the Glaze It with the other products?

I really like the results from the IP-200, and a little goes quite a long way, and seems to work best on red.

I think i'm also going to try Menzerna triplets (new phrase) IP/FP/FMJ on one of the shop rigs.
