Hi all, new guy here. Buddy of mine, mr_rammstein came over and detailed my V today. Got rid of a lotta swirls and some scratches. Took a while, but great job! He'll post the before pics...

Here are some pics I shot tonight...

Good Lord that's one of my favorite cars... especially in black! :cooleek:

What kind of polish/wax/sealant did mr_rammstein use?

He used the Optimum compound and polish, then Optimum sealant/wax.

I'm normally not a Cadillac fan, but man your CTS-V looks awesome!

Thanks, I wasn't a Cadillac fan either, until they reinvented themselves. Always saw them as an old person's car... Who woulda thought that at 18 I woulda gotten a CTS, then a V at 19... Not your grandpa's car anymore ;)

Mind sharing how you can afford one! :P

I was goin to University of Waterloo for Computer Science... I worked co-op as a Consultant and Systems Developer, am now a Marketing Manager, and switching my CS program to a Business Management program, hopefully.

Plus I got the car from the States.. Plus parents help :)

Looks great, I thought I recognized that building. Here I thought you robbed a bank or something to get your V. Excellent work, hard work does pay off at times.

Thanks.. PIcs were taken in Richmond Hill/Markham though :)

He did a great job, my quite *cocky* neighbor has the same exact CTS-V, doesnt look as good though. I tried to help him, but he still insists its ok to wash the wheels and tires with the body mitt first. I actually found him the car, and offered to help him detail it, but he's fine with his new tub of turtle wax hard shell!

Looks awesome!

I had the chance to do one last month and the owner let me drive it home while he followed me. Simple an amazing car. Ultimate sleeper in my opinion. Especially if you have a family like me. Two baby seats in the back and remove the badges! LOL!

Thanks for all the kind words guys!!! I love this car too and think it turned out incredible!!! Definitely the nicest car I've had the pleasure of detailing yet!!!
