My Car is Sick?????

I finally got to detail my car a little (change of pace) and some young kids were walking by and were eyeing my car. Then one guy comes up to me and says "Man, your ride is sick!" I wasn't sure if he was making fun of it or what. Then he gives me a thumbs up. When I went home I asked my teenager what he meant, "Dad, he says, are you still in the stone age? That means it looks awesome." I guess I'm really getting old. Thats kind of funny because my wife has been telling me my car is sick for years now. I think she has a different meaning behind her definition. Gary

No, no.... I think your wife has been telling you your car (or at least the paint) is SLICK!! Must be the drone of that polisher has played havoc with your hearing :idea

:LOLOL

I always get a kick out of hearing the terms "Slammin" or "Bangin" myself.

I also love how any random object/idea/situation can now be referred to as "hot," not just people, spice, or temperature anymore.

Ill, blingin, etc. For those of you not up on your street slang, I'd suggest urbandictionary.com. There's a few gems on there like:

Canadian Dime

A cute girl who is about a 7 or 8 on a scale of 1 to 10. Plays on the exchange rate of Canadian money vs. US money. A dimepiece is a perfect 10.

And pretty much any other street word you could want to know.

To describe a great looking "cah" in Eastern Massachusetts, you would say something like this..

"Damn, that cah is wicked pissah!"

:werd up!
