My black Mariner's first detail in 2011...

YNOT

Poorboys Rules!
I think I last detailed this car in spring of last year. I'm usually pretty good about polishing and waxing every 6 months, but this past fall was so busy I just couldn't find the time. Needless to say, she was way overdue and the Natty's from last year was just barely holding on...hehe.

I gave her the complete treatment, Dawn®, claybar, then SSR1 (2.5 in some areas), a layer of Black Hole, EX, and topped her off with 3 coats of Natty's red. In fact, this time, I actually let the EX sit on her overnight before polishing it off and applying the wax.

Here are the pics.

Once these storms subside I'm hoping to get out and get some better pics somewhere. Any comments or suggestions on the detail are certainly welcome. I'm still learning and trying to perfect my skills each time.

Tony, as usual, your detailing is right on par with your art work. Nice vehicles, nice job. Now, about that super charger...

i love the look. remember red takes a day or two to really show the WOW
but you'll see the diff right away :)

Remember to put your sunglasses on

Natty's red is one of my favorites, my paint looks dripping wet when done! How did you apply the Natty's? I like to apply it with a PC and blue LC pad.

Thanks everyone!

I apply it by hand. Correction...I apply it 'lightly' by hand as if it goes on too heavy it's a bit tough to get off real easy.
