:sosad Well hiya peeps, once again..

it's been a while since I've been here...

I have a problem...on the front of my lovely beetle bug I named "Gramps", I have noticed road rash, those small little punctures of paint, they look like little bubbles that have popped. Some detailer guy told me the only thing I could do is sand the area and then paint it, but I am TERRIFIED of sanding, never having done it before, although as many of you know, I enjoy K-AIO, and Blitz wax. (Applying 10 coats to the car, as obsessed as you BOYS are).

Let me know what I could do. shucks, if any of y'all are in the DC area, give me a holler, and maybe you could give me some in person tips? I am serious about learning, but boys around here don't give me a break, they figure d-tailing is for men only, YUCK.

It's hard to tell from your description whether you are describing a paint defect or having the bumper kiss a concrete barrier. What do you think caused this rash?

I dont think it's a paint defect-it could be.

It's located on only two places on the vehicle...I guess you'd call it the 'bumper' region, it's under the headlights, eww I wish I could take a pic of this.

They are very tiny looking circles, it's not smooth, at first glance it looks like dirt (yikes) but it's not, it's rough to the touch, the only thing I think that could have caused it was dirt roads? tiny rocks?

hello all you peeps. and tax lady.

:wavey

Do you drive a lot on gravel roads?

Wait a minute, you said it was under the headlights? Is this a newer bug, or a repainted older original bug? Have you switched to higher wattage bulbs?
