Honestly, I didn't seem very welcome on the site when I asked for opinions about a 'non-sponsored' product.
That's why I felt compelled to address this problem.
I didn't post it but I felt I had pretty much wasted my money on that vendor's chemicals but was looking for confirmation. You guys (sponsors) are the experts, and should be pushing comparison/opinions as to why your products are better in order to grow your sales.
This is a good point. I personally don't like to compare specific brands because I just don't want to be in the habit of knocking competitors products. Having said that I can give you advice on what makes a quality product and what doesn't and which of our products will best meet your expectations.
Customer reviews are good but are subject to the customers experience level and what works or looks awesome to one person might not work or look so good to another. This is why you as a consumer should find someone who's opinion you trust and has been qualified through proper knowledge and experience. This doesn't mean the person has to be a chemist to be able to trust their opinion. It just means they need to atleast know the proper criteria to judge if a product works and is worthy of recommendation.
My point in saying all this is that you should always consider the source of recommendations. I truly believe the products I sell are the best in the industry and that's based mainly on experience but, because I do sell these products, my opinion is going to be biased or atleast appear to be.
For newbies, our exposure to-date is what is available local and through mainstream advertising. I realize that this doesn't mean best product which is where I'd like my money to go.
Speaking of which... when is a good time to call you for a 5 minute discussion on the right products for my situation and an order?
I am dividing my time between being at the Detail City store and operating our mobile detail service (until it sells). At the moment I will be in the office all day Monday and Tuesday (8am-5pm EST). I will be happy to share my thoughts on which products will be best for you and what you are looking to achieve.
