My $105,000 Detail

This car is a 2001 Mercedes-Benz CL55 AMG. The car has 3155 miles and is babied, well except for the paint. The paint was swirled to hell, etched on bird crap, and tons of brake dust. I washed the car, clayed, rewashed, DACP with yellow pad, #9 2.0 with white pad, Dawn wash (palmolive in this case), dry, Z2, Z6, Z2. The owner was VERY IMPRESSED. Here are pics, of course.

The pictures look GREAT but as great as they look they don't do justice to the job you did.....the car looks AMAZING in person!!! Great Job:)
 
Onto the interior, I cleaned the glass with Eagle one 20/20, tuff stuff on the carpets, and Zaino Z10 on the leather. I then buffed the wood and navigation system with Z6 and a MF towel.

Wow! Fantastic job! And a 12 hour detail job just for the exterior! I hope they paid (and tipped) you well!!!

Dang 12 hours detailing. Now, when I hit the lotto I'll buy couple of those and fly you down to L.A. for detailing! heheheh.
 
Nice ride! Man, if only I could bring myself to do a 12 hour detail! Something else always comes up and I have to sell myself short and race thru everything....poo.



I would LOVE to see that thing in person, I am sure that it is SMOOTH AS CHOCOLATE! :bow
 
This is one of my favorite benzes (next to the SL55). I can't wait to the new amg's (E, Clk, ) come out with 476 ponies. M5 GET OUTTA THE WAY!!!!
 
Thanks for the compliments guys, the owner doesn't even want to move it from the garage now lol! I have more pics, I will post them later on tonite. More exotic cars to come!:D
 
AlBoston, how did you pick up this client? Your mobile right?



BTW, I do think the M5 is coming out with a V10 soon...it'd be a close call between the Benz and Bimmer for me...
 
Wow, great job Ali!! I know what you mean about the leather in those big benzes... try doing an S-Class, its got even more in the back seat! (And its all holy:eek: )



But theres just somthin about a clean black MB...

really great job... it must be nice working with such high quality paint. Were you nervous working on such an expensive car? That would be like me trying to detail my house :)
