Here is a pic of my car @ his house. The car has 2x Z5/ZFX and 1 coat of Z2 from yesterday. I really like the extra kick of gloss it give on silver. Stoners trim shine on the tires(my new favorite, NO SLING unlike TW tire gel). If you look closely u can see my BBT on my passenger's side mirror, oops!

AlBoston,

Great job!!! :up

I have a silver CRV and am interested if you could give me a run down of the full process you used!! Z5 x2, ZFX x2, then Z2 x1?

thanks!

Well i did my initial prep last month which was, dawn wash, clay, dawn wash, #9 2.0 via pc to brighten up the surface and remove minor swirls, then i did Z5/ZFX 2 coats. Just the other day i did a Z7 wash and then QDed with Z6. I then follow up with a coat of Z2, it made it very glossy, just what I have been looking for.

Hey Al! Both cars look great! I was wondering how you apply Stoners Trim Shine to the tires? Do you spray it onto an applicator (foam or cotton?) then apply to the tire? I cleaned the engine bay on the MDX and sprayed it down with Stoners Trim Shine, and it looked great. What kind of durability do you get with it on the tires? I currently use Meguiars Endurance.

We should definitely meet up sometime......I've been so busy whenever I have a day off from work or on the weekends!

Hey! Yea we should meet up soon, I usually get about a week of life out of most tire dressings. I just spray it on the tire(I have low profile tires) with the nozzle really close to the tire to prevent overspray. It works good and leaves a nice low gloss finish. Several people have asked about it, I will post a picture soon. Thanks for all the kind words :).
