I`ve been using the newer foam lance for the past 2 months...
If you already own the former foam lance, no need to upgrade.
Aside from the adjustability to control whether the spread pattern is vertical or horizontal, to my *semi* experienced eyes and feel, the foam output is equally the same as the older (aka, lesser expensive) one.
Build quality seems nice.
The plastic bottle included, same grade#2, but the older bottle seems slightly more durable/thicker.
The newer bottle looker kewler, or maybe it`s just cooler cause it`s different and new, but I like the slimmer width of the old bottle. Just feels more natural on engagement to the threads -- this is all subjective I suppose.
