MTM PF22 Foam Lance - Anybody using it

So, I`ve been using my MTM PF22....

U know I`ve never really given it ~alot~ of thought of what a foam lance does, but in simplistic terms, it`s just air entrapment/relative to water pressure in conjunction of the pickup tube/solution in the bottle right.

I`m running 3 GPM - detuned at 1500 PSI
It`s the weirdest thing but something is causing the PW to choke with this on at times. It will literally cause some sort of backpressure where there is nil-none water flowing out, maybe if I stop the trigger, and then trigger it, I`ll get low pressure out of it, etc, etc. MAYBE on this particular lance, it just doesn`t play well with my PW ? I have the dial set all the way to the right, as AFA is said to be a bit sudsy, but I`m getting excellent cling/foam with it - with the dial all the way to the right. I`ll need to back it off a bit on the next wash and see. But literally, today, my PW seems like it kept choking up when using this lance..

And it`s not the PW, cause post rinse, water was HP free flowing hunky dory.

Anybody experience something similar

In retrospect , I probably just had the dilution dial too restrictive .
might be good for a quick test to compare the older one and the newer one.
