This product is for cleaning interior walls but I unexpectedly found that it is perfect for cleaning scuff marks off vinyl and plastic, especially light colors, and especially on the lower part of the door interior and seats. Does not damage and leaves no residue. Even cleans penmarks and lipstick.
 
I think the 'secret' behind Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is that it is actually a super fine grit sandpaper block. They make you wet it so it's kind of like wetsanding. That's the only way it can do anything without chemicals.
 
It will also remove ground in, can't get rid of it brake dust from alloy wheels.......but you may go through a whole box of them for four wheels.
 
I use them on my rims, but they do need to be followed by a polishing product.



The melamine foam is super-hard, but microscopically small and in a loose crystalline form. There's enough room between the fibers to allow the pad to "absorb" grime. But the hardness of the product does have a very light abrasive quality.
 
It also removes old wax buildup on black plastic in the event that you decide to be a ******* and don't tape off the car before you polish it!! ...
 
FYI the ones from the Dollar Discount type stores work just as well in side by side testing by myself. A lot less $$.
