Mr Clean Auto dry (JUNK I know, BUT...)

Wouldn't this be almost if not as effective as a foam gun if you intended on using it to soak the car with a soap of your choice then wash it normally (like you would a foam gun).... Just curious, debating on the purchase of a foam gun, and have the auto dry collecting dust in the garage (gift from the fam) Just an idea! Let me know why I should buy the foam gun over using the Mr Clean:bigups autodry!

I tried z7 with an autodry but the soap was too thick so it went nowhere fast. However, since you have the autodry already, give it a shot and hopefully you will have better luck than I did.

I know a guy who tried just spraying the soap and washing it off with the Auto Dry thing and then he hand dried it but where the water he didn't get off it waterspotted so bad he had to wet sand and buff them out!:down

Anyone actually compare the autodry to a gilmour foam gun? I'm thinking of whether to buy the foam gun for my dad since he already has the autodry. It would be a waste if the gilmour didn't perform any better than the autodry in producing foam.
