Moving to white....

All of my past cars have been black or dark colored....I have just ventured into the world of white as I just purchased a 2007 Trailblazer SS in Summit White.

What would everyone suggest for polishes, glazes, and wax. I know that with white you will not be able to see the depth of paint but looking to make the paint "pop".

Granted I'm new and don't have a whole lot of experience with some of the more exotic combos but what I use on my Polar White Scion xB is some Meg's #7 followed by two coats of NXT 2.0 topped with S100.

Maybe not the most exotic, but I think it looks damn good. Nice and wet and it looks SWEET under street lamps and neon signs at night.

I'd continue using what you've been using all along. If something makes black look good it will make white look good as well. What you really want to concentrate on with a white car are things like tires, trim, wells, etc. I own a black car and a white one. I tend to like Carnauba on both, but I find myself reaching for sealants a lot more often on the white one than the black. That said, my white car is currently wearing Poorboys World EX-P. It is very easy to use and looks great. Often times I'll top the EX-P with DP Max wax or Natty's (original white). I usually let the sealant go for atleast a few washes before I top it because I like to alternate the look of the ole Focus. Sometimes, I'll reach for Klasse. It all depends on what you like I guess.

i have owned many, many white cars since my first new 1973 montego. currently have a C6, avalanche and a CTS, all white of course. i have used nothing but NXT and IW845 exclusively. both make the white POP for me. i try to keep it simple and love the ease of both. going to try the NXT 2 next time! :secret :xyxthumbs
