moving to a different apt in same complex

Right now my wife and I are in a 2 bedroom apartment. Our lease is coming up and we're looking to move into a 1 bedroom apt in the same apt complex. In the renewal notice for our 2 bedroom the new rate is ~$100 more than the online price (new contract).

Before I walk into the lease office, I want to know:



- If we move into a 1 bedroom can I assume we'll get the online price (new contract) ?

- Should we also be able to get any move-in specials? Like the 1st month free?
 
Doubt u will get any perks....unless they are advertising them. You should get the street price than anyone off the street will pay for the one bedroom.....esentially u are not renewing one contract and starting a fresh one....not rolling it over.
