Mothers Professional Line

Just saw these products being discussed, figured I'd open it up here. The APC has my eye, as does the window cleaner......

Prices are cheap, the APC is $17 I've seen, crazy good dilution ratios too.

My friend is an avid mothers user. Hoping he orders the line so I can try.

I've used the foam pad polish before. Nothing special but wasn't the worst either.

I have some sitting infront of me... thinking about doing the ultimate showdown.. Meguiars Detailers Line vs. Mothers Professional :)

Rzatch brought some of their stuff to the Chicago get together. A thread on AG talked about their compounds and polish. Seemed to do a good job on the donor car's trunk and spoiler. Samples were passed out and I left mine sitting on a table there. :-(

I'll speak for the rest of us and say that that would be awesome! :rockon
Agreed
Sooooo...what are u waiting for? :lol2::bow

Bummer you left your sample. I'll have to look for that thread see the results.

You really should. Especially at the price point, it'd be nice to see the best bang for your buck.

Are Simple Green and Fabuloso no longer worthy? We have to buy car specific APC for wheel wells, under body panels? What are the pros doing with APC?

I am of the same school of thought. When I think APC I think ALL PURPOSE CLEANER. A product that is used all over the house, garage and vehicle.

I'm in the same boat. However there's something appealing to a dedicated cleaner you know is safe, without finding which dilution ratio is best. The 10:1 mix I have for my wheels, won't work on some other folks wheels, so it's creating more mixes for me to make. But I get both sides. I mostly use APC for everything.

I would love to see the test, especially the compounds/polishes. Megs make a ton of stuff, and I like a few of their products alot, but there are some that need to retire. I'm somewhat confused by the different lines Mothers has and the waxes in them, like what is considered the premium?
C'mon Todd, have a Corona, then pick up those bottles and get to detailing!

Simple green is only good fro drains. It has no place in my detailing stuff.

It can pit/stain aluminum

The other I have no idea.

I use PB apc - it does what it's supposed to

Its interesting, saw Al(Bunky) mention the Surf City pro line, all these companies now have pro lines, which I think is great. Just so much coming to market though....

Thanks for the heads-up. I've been using it on wheel wells and grunge work like the oil pan and whatnot. I'll ditch it for something better.
