Mothers mag/aluminum polish hard to buff off

Maybe I put too much on and tried to buff off right away. I feel like I have to put pressure on the towel to buff it off. Is this a product where you apply and then wait for the polish to dry and then buff off? Or can I apply it and then buff off immediately?

It's basically a cream with a fine polish. Wipe on, wipe off. Depending on how stained or dirt the aluminum is, you might have to apply some elbow grease. I have never have had to buff to hard to get it off. Maybe you are using too much. Try using it like you would use DACP and the like.

Don't let it dry - apply with an applicator and start rubbing. It'll turn black. The longer you rub, the shinier it'll get.

You may want to try applying it with a blue rubber nitrile glove, and do your rubbing with the glove. Then, wipe with a MF to remove the residue.

I apply it with a terry cloth, then turn to a dry spot, and remove it with that. I never have to buff it very hard. The terry cloth fibers are good for pulling the polish off.
