Mothers mag/alum polish on 1970 Corvette wheels?

Is this a safe polish to use on the Corvette wheels? They are OEM as far as I know. My neighbor owns the car, and the wheels are very dull. I told him that I would help him clean it up in the springtime. Well spring is here! It's near 50*F now, and supposed to be in the mid-50s tomorrow.

So my plan for the wheels was to clean them with P21S Liquid Wheel Cleaner, and then use Mothers mag/aluminum polish on them. Then probably follow with AIO/UPP.

Tires would get cleaned with Mothers tire/rubber cleaner, and get WG tire gel.
 
I've never used it on those particular wheels but I would say follow the directions. It says that it is safe for all metals but not to use on painted, anodized, or chrome wheels so if the vette wheels are none of those then go for it.



I would test it on the inside of the wheel where you can't see just incase it causes a problem but I think it would probably be fine.
