Mothers Day Detailed Present..

Addicted 2 Detailing
So I thought I would share my latest detail. Mom just loved her present. She was blown away and that was just after I clayed it. It's a 95 Grand Prix. It's a daily driver and last time there was wax on it was about 3-4 years ago. The paint was pretty dull, no shine left, and whole bunch of scratches. And we all know how bad scratches show up on black. So thanks to Pinnacle products and my PC I made her day!

Washed, clayed, advanced swirl remover, had to go over hood and trunk few times, Wolfgang paint sealant, liquid Souverän, then finished it up with crystal mist. My usual routine...

excellent detailing, specially there was alot of scratches and the car didnt get wax for about 3yrs. what did you put on your tires?

Used the Onyx tire gel from Pinnacle. I've used many products before, but this is nice stuff. Keeps the tires nice and black even after a few washes.

wash after clay?

Keep in mind that you don't have to wash after you clay, especially if you're going to polish afterwards. The whole wash-clay-wash deal is a bit over emphasized IMO. You can clay while you wash to save a step. Or, if you use the lube and clay correctly, you shouldn't "need" a second wash in the first place. If you feel the need to wash again after claying, I think you need to reevaluate your claying procedure. This is , of course, only my opinion.

Yes so true dude!! No I don't wash after I clay. Your right, it is overrated to wash again. Waste of time if u ask me. Time is money. Basically after I clay the car looks just washed. So I don't see the need to wash again. But input from all sided is good. Detail AWAY everyone!!
