I found this on digg.com It's a 5 minute video about a person who details only high-end cars (lamborghini's, bugatti veyron, etc..) It shows you the process he uses to wash, clay, polish, and wax his customer's cars. Is it worth it?
Can you guys critique his method of detailing? I'm curious whether it's really that much different from a more "regular" autopian detail which would probably cost $500-600 max. Perhaps it's mainly because of the types of products he uses which brings up the cost so much. :nixweiss
I was surprised that he didn't use the 2 bucket method for the washing. He just used one bucket, one wash mitt, and he seemed to make pretty hard and wide swipes with the wash mitt. Wouldn't this cause marring? Of course, he polishes it after so I guess it's not that bad. I'm was just surprised that a detailer who charges so much uses one wash mitt and one bucket while autopians are using 2+ mitts and at least 2 buckets to wash
