I hope this doesnt get moved because theres alot more traffic here, and I dont see why guys can post threads talking about all the products under the sun and their effectiveness in detailing, but not this one...I only mention it because my first post dealing with it was moved to Product reviews...This is more in the way of a question than a review...First some background...Ive really been getting into Plexus...First, I used it on my plastic headlight lense covers...Then on the plastic trim...Then, I started looking for non plastics....So, I used it on my Fikse bare aluminum hi polished rims as a sealant...Then, I used it on my windshield...Everything I applied it to developed this great slipperiness and shine so that stuff would find it hard to stick to it...Then, I took the ultimate leap of faith...I used it on all my horizontal surfaces on my '99 M3. Modern paints are just forms of plastic so the product should be fine...But, I didnt know how it would work on paint thats been recently waxed with Blitz Carnauba....I tried a little, and like every other surface, it seemed to love the Plexus...So, I just sprayed the whole car....And not only did it go on and off real easy using a Microfiber towel, but there was no streakiness, and Ive never seen such a great shine and feel.
What Im hoping happened is that I sealed in the Carnauba wax Id been using. What Im hoping didnt happen is that I just spread a cheap Silicone all over the surface...Im a bit leary because usually such great shines come with Silicone, which I try to stay away from...Please advise, if anyone knows, does Plexus contain Silicone? And what would it do to a painted surface thats a basecoat/clearcoat system in excellent condition that receives regular Carnauba wax treatments? If feels and looks great...Since I used it on my front spoiler/bumper/air dam, I havent found one bug attached! Is this stuff really as versatile as I seem to have found it to be? I keep waiting for the bottom to drop out..:sosad
