Hello All,
I have a FURIOUS FUCHSIA pearlcoat 2010 Dodge Challenger R/T. I just got back from a year deployment and decided to upgrade my Mother's car care products with $500 worth of Chemical Guys' products. Although my car is parked nightly in my apartment complex's garage, the daily brief showers here in Hawaii try their best to keep my car dirty and spotted. I wash the car weekly and am putting on two coats of wax monthly. I can only do stuff by hand because there is no easily accessible outlet in my garage area.
I have to admit my experience with Chemical Guys is disappointing thus far. I thought if someone had the nerve to charge almost $1000 for can of wax, they gotta be good and know what they're doing. I'm hoping it's just my detailing skills that need improvement and not the inadequacies of their products. I tried sending them e-mails with questions and hoping for better direction, but their responses have been but the briefest of jokes.
So now I come to you all in hopes of keeping my ride looking the absolute best I can. I'm looking forward to all I can learn from yins.
