Moistering an old vinyl dash

Hey guys, i just got a 25 year old mint condition dash that was preserved like a fossil in dirt. The car and the interior was completely covered in dirt for 12 years which somehow saved the dash. So anyways, i got this mint condition dash that i really wanna take care of. Its from an old toyota ae86 corolla. So i was wondering, if you guys knew any good products that are good to use to make the dash soft and safe again. Thanks guys!
 
I had a dash that was pretty dried out, DP Interior Protectant saved the day on that thing. It was really dry to the touch at the beginning of spring and to this day with only two applications it's still nice and soft.



Care to explain why this car was buried in the ground?
 
I'd wash it with a mild car wash soap or ONR. I'd wouldn't treat it. Duplicolor makes a vinyl paint which would make it look new.
