Hi guys!!
Here is one fine machine I did over the weekend for a customer who I did his Monaco blue 330IX. This M badged X5 has the 4.6 and also has the AC Schnitzer wheels and a bunch of Dinon parts. The rumble of the engine sounded nice and the paint was in excellent shape other than some normal holograms. He has always maintaned it very well (way above average) and he had plenty coats of Zaino on it. Washing it was a breeze and nothing was stuck to it at all. I wish all my cars were treated like this. The soap was falling off the car faster than I could wash it. This thing was beyond SLICK!
If a normal detailer had seen this he would of never touched it cause it was extremely shiny and the holograms were very minor and could be seen at certain angles or under halogens. I had to remove the 20 coats of Zaino (very impressive looking and feeling) and to make it look better than it did when it arrived. I guess that is why he chose me:grinno: I have done this a couple times before.:waxing:
Well I faught with this one, while they were normal holograms, the paint was like kevlar and took forever for them to come out.
Wash - Z7 soap
All work was done via rotary
SIP 3.02- yellow pad (the contours and hood)
SIP 3.02- orange pad (whole truck)
106ff - polish pad for 6 hours straight
ZAIO - via pc on a black lc pad #3 and let dry for hours(this gave a nice rock hard shell and a very wet look)
Z5 x2 (zfx)
Z-CS
This guy now has the best looking beemers around bar none! My brother thought it was a custom repaint and could not believe how intense it looked. The pics are off balance so bad, but you get the idea.
Thanks for looking!:woot:
