Mobile Setup - Do I Need a Pump for My Water Tank?

I'm looking at 50-100 gallon tanks for my mobile setup. I have a 2.3gpm pressure washer that I'll be using for basic washing and rinsing, but I'm a little unclear as to the "pump" needs for the water.

1) Will the pressure washer actually "draw" water from the tank via the hose?

2) In NOT, then any advice on inexpensive pumps? I considered just running a cheap HF sump pump off of my generator, but a 12v would be way quieter.

Thanks!

Well, unless you have a "self priming" pump, that will pull out of a stagnant body of water, you will probably need a pump. I don't personally use one, even though I keep a pressure washer in my trailer. I just use gravity feed to fill my buckets up for ONR washes.

If you are wanting to run a pressure washer directly off your tank, you are going to need a pump. As far as quality pumps... that would be a question for the guys that run one.

Hope this helps a bit.
