I just purchased a 2010 Range Rover Sport SC in Rimini Red (wine colored). The truck had sat on the dealership lot for nearly a year unprotected from the weather and little did I know, the dirt that I thought the car was covered in was actually etched water spots. When I took delivery of the truck, they neglected to buff it, just brought it to me with a quick wash job and it was a mess. I sent it back to the dealership after the sales guy assured me that his regular detail guy (who was not there the day they cleaned my car for delivery) was a miracle worker. He worked miracles alright, he managed to miss 10% of the rain etching and create buffer holograms over the entire vehicle. The sales guy assured me he would get it fixed, but I refuse to let them do any more damage to the car.
I'm looking for someone that can do mild paint correction on this truck, clean up the black rubber and plastic that still has buffer spray on it and do a good sealant on the truck to protect it in the future.
Since I don't really have access to be able to drop the vehicle off somewhere, I would like to get the job done here at my home, I do have a large 3-car garage. Or would be willing to let someone pick up and drop back off if that is an option.
I'm just north of Germantown, MD (about 12 miles south of Frederick). Weekends are rarely an available option for me, prefer the work be done during the week.
Thanks in advance!
