Mobile Detailing

Well i started my detailing business, and im running out of friends and family to do and i have started to get a few "real" customers asking for appointments. Im doing the cars in my driveway under a canopy.

My problem is this:

I basically could go to their houses and do it, but what do i do about washing the car? I mean isnt it tacky asking to use their hose? I dont have the budget to get a full mobile detailing setup just as of yet, but i know being able to let the customer stay at home would be a major selling point in my market. Plus where do i find out about NYS laws on wastewater and things of that nature? Think i should offer a $10 discount if i do it at their home and i can use their water supply?

Thanks guys.

I'd just say that you charge X amount and use there water and juice. I doubt that its going to be a big deal with anyone. I could be wrong about this but I don't think so. Take your own hose thought.

I run a pickup and delivery service for this reason.

What kind of insurance do you need to do this?
