Mobile Detailing Insurance

I am starting a small mobile detailing company in Cleveland, Ohio with two friends for the summer. We will be in business between may and september but we have a few questions. First, we are wondering what type of insurance most mobile businesses have. We are also wonder how much we should expect to pay for the insurance. Also are there any specific insurance companies that cater to small businesses like this.

Thanks

Go to a local insurance agent and ask them about general liability insurance.

I have a million dollar cover coverage for 115.00 a month. I have this amount due to several businesses requiring it for me to do power washing for them. You can get away with a lot less.

Can you explain your business plan a little better such as how you plan on getting your work, and how much you're hoping and what kind/level of it? 3 people in a part time detailing business might not be able to afford insurance after you slice out the profit pie.

Very good points.

Strictly mobile with two people working ran $1,200.00 a year. A 3,500 square foot shop with a mobile unit and all necessary insurance to do dealer work is $2,600.00.

Good luck with your business!
