MJ found not guilty

I think I have completely lost faith in the US legal system. :(

You mean because of this, or did it happen a long time ago because of the O.J. case, or that women who drowned her kids in the bathtub and then got life instead of the death penalty she deserved (because she was a woman), or the old lady who spilled coffee on herslf and got milliions of dollars from McD's because the coffee was 3 degrees too hot, etc, etc, etc - going back at least 30 years?:nixweiss

I heard he's leaving the country and moving to France!

Ha, let the Frenchies have him. What a perfect match.

Spoiled Man, it sounds like you don't think he is a pedophile and its just because of his childhood or lack of it. But, if that is the case, why is it that he only asked the boys to go into bed with him and not any girls?

Who knows, but just because two people are in the bed together doesn't mean that something happens between them. I think that you need to think with a clean and innocent mind. He (from his description) considers the bed a place of rest which really is what it is. Most everyone thinks of the bed as a place to have sex but if you've done it more than once you know that that can happen pretty much anywhere(stop what you're thinking). I'm not saying that he's not a pedophile, I'm saying that we still have seen no concrete evidence that he is. No, I wouldn't let my kids stay the night at his house but so far they have only spent the night somewhere without us at my sisters house and she's single(no males in the house other than my son). I'm a rather protective parent(my wife makes me unfit in comparison) and am very choosey in who my kids even ride in the car with. I do think it's wrong to condemn someone that has an accuser that has a record of being a liar. The mother got caught ripping off a department store and said that she was manhandled. She got paid a good sum of money and then admitted to NOT being manhandled but then goes and applies for welfare and doesn't disclose ANY of that settlement money. Would you take anything she has to say with more than a grain of salt??

This whole thing is like someone coming here and posting that NuFinish will outlast Zaino. Now who would believe that?? Think of this kids mother as being the person making that claim. Would you believe anything else she posted or would you second guess it?

Not to take this OT, but the coffee was a lot hotter than that; I read that she required skin grafts in a rather sensitive area of her body. The true severity of that one gets overlooked because it *sounds* so patently ridiculous on the surface. (FWIW, I myself do subscribe to personal responsibility.)

Back ON-topic, if MJ is a pedophile, let's just hope he gets nailed for something before he damages any more kids. It's not like a pedophile will just stop molesting; getting away with it seems more likely embolden him and thus to lead to additional abuse. Some day he's gonna scratch that itch again.

Isn't that what Polanski did after *he* plied a kid with alcohol and molested her? At least he was found guilty...celebrity freaks weren't up on pedestals back then.

This IS America where you ARE innocent until PROVEN to be guilty.

That applies ONLY in a court of law. You, I or anyone else can think he is guilty as the day is long whenever we want. Personally, I think he is guilty and a serial pedophile.

Bottom Line:

Wacko Jacko had the best lawyer's available, why because he has money. Facto de Facto he got off, guilty or not. Money talks in the USA (Fact).

Not defending him, but there isn't nothing wrong with that. If you or I had that money and were in a legal situation, we'd do the same.

When the full might of the State is bearing down on you and looking to lock you up, you have every right to use whatever means you have to defend yourself. Lord knows how the State tramples on the little guy in legal situations.

My friend just sent me the nastiest Michael Jackon related image. Wish I could post it! It's a white glove with a brown stain on the finger with the caption "One would have thought this evidence was overwhelming. Guess not."

A "not guilty" verdict doesn't mean MJ is not a pedophile; it only means the state failed to convince this particular group of 12 people that MJ did those things to THIS one kid.

MJ is smart for selecting underprivileged kids with parents on welfare; who's going to believe their testimony when MJ can show the trail of $ he spent on them and their child?

Some believe MJ is asexual and can sleep with boys without it being for unseemly reasons; if that were true, what's with the man-on-man porno?

I heard that one piece of evidence the jury didn't get to see was kiddie porn found at Neverland.

Hopefully he will have learned his lesson, even if he wasn't convicted. :nono

Well, that ends this trial. Next celebrity to get off will be Phil Spector. Shoots woman in the head with his gun. Claims she committed suicide.

It's not looking good for Mr Spector. I remember a news report saying that an expert says there's no way it was suicide and that the body was moved. That and statements that he made got him arrested. Blake is another that got off because of dirty witnesses.

From what *I* have heard, this was nothing more than media speculation that there was any kiddy porn there at all. No way that this wouldn't have made it into the case if there was. The ragz had no problem making it into the case.

Yeah it was pretty hard to convict him on the words of the mother and the son, since they had previously lied under oath and got caught up in that JCPenny scam. Now if the 93 accuser(the one that could describe intimate parts of Wacko Jacko) and the (kid who later had became a priest) had filed their own seperate cases, I believe you would've saw a different outcome. They had much better credibility, and no past issues of lying under oath or being involved in get rich quick schemes from big companies. BTW that one kids book that the jury was shown would've creeped me out if I was a juror. A whole book filled with naked pubescent boys. Wacko Jacko indeed...

I saw that, that is a hilarious pic. Regardless, whether MJ actually did anything or not (Personally I think he did), the parents should be tried for something. Neglect or child endangerment or something. I think the parent was as off her rocker as MJ is.
