Mixing different waxes to get a desired effect...?

I was wondering if anyone has ever tried mixing different waxes to get a desired effect...?

Take for instance Pinnacle Souveran and P21S...

I have read many reviews of these two waxes where the reviewer said something to the effect that they liked Souveran because it gave a much deeper, wetter look...

Any they liked P21S because it gave a much more reflective look...

Well, to get both, has anyone ever tried mixing the two...?

I know several people layer the two, but wonder if mixing would give a different result...

I remember someone has done this before, I think it was mixing p21s with meguiars #16 wax. He boiled it or something. Someone lemme know if im right or not.

yes they did boil it, they took the wax they wanted to use and put their mix in there and put a can in a pot of boiling water and let it stew for X number of time, then they let it cool. Some one may want to add to this. I tried it once worked out, just never used it as it was a test for me with some grit filled wax's (OLD OLD WAX THAT MY WIFE HAD NOT MINE)

Wow...

I was thinking of applying some Souveran to the pad and some P21S to the pad and then waxing the car, and doing it over and over like that...

I never even thought of melting and mixing the two into one...

:buffing:
