With my work schedule and family schedule and everything else I have going on, I can really only do a couple shows a year anymore. I do the Elite Rides show and usually organize one with some friends. I am the two time winner of the cleanest car award.
The show this year was at the local race track durring the Midnight Drags. It was pretty fun. The bad part was that a lot of the work I did wasn't even visible at night even though the place was very well lit. Oh well.... At least I know its clean.
I worked pretty hard on the car this year. I repainted the calipers and did the suspension even. I even took the front bumper off so I could detail the radiator and some of the areas you could see through the grill. It was a great time.
Click the image for a little album. Sorry that the pictures are kind of blurry. My battery was dying and the camera doesn't like to focus very well when it is low on juice.

I think I had an advantage over other cars in the engine bay because my hood will go straight up. Not many cars will do that. I had no trouble detailing the firewall and some really rough areas that would have been much more difficult if I didn't have a hood that would go fully vertical.
