Mission accomplished at car show last night

With my work schedule and family schedule and everything else I have going on, I can really only do a couple shows a year anymore. I do the Elite Rides show and usually organize one with some friends. I am the two time winner of the cleanest car award. :D The show this year was at the local race track durring the Midnight Drags. It was pretty fun. The bad part was that a lot of the work I did wasn't even visible at night even though the place was very well lit. Oh well.... At least I know its clean. :D I worked pretty hard on the car this year. I repainted the calipers and did the suspension even. I even took the front bumper off so I could detail the radiator and some of the areas you could see through the grill. It was a great time. :)

Click the image for a little album. Sorry that the pictures are kind of blurry. My battery was dying and the camera doesn't like to focus very well when it is low on juice.

I think I had an advantage over other cars in the engine bay because my hood will go straight up. Not many cars will do that. I had no trouble detailing the firewall and some really rough areas that would have been much more difficult if I didn't have a hood that would go fully vertical. :D

Hey Anthony,

Congrats on the win......btw is that "monkey urine" under the hood there (the cleaner) if so that stuff is just like the name implies. works great on everything , wheels, engines, carpet, and it is dirt cheap (and i thought it was my lil secret) :lmfao

Hmmmm.... and here I thought it was my lil secret. lol Its a lot like my Advanage that I use. I love the stuff. I've used it on carpets and grease and just about everything else. For a c-note at the local dollar store, I can't complain. :naughty

PS... nice sig. Here is a question for you though. If winners never quit and quitters never win... then who came up with the phrase "Quite while you are ahead"?

Very impressive!

I've used Awesome on and off over the years, good product. Wish I was as mechanically inclined as you to be able to take off my bumper. Keep up the good work!
