Mini Color-X review

Don

Darth Camaro 12/27/15
I just picked up a bottle (had to have it) and while I haven't given it a try on a whole car or by machine yet, I did use it on my car in some of the out of the way/really abused areas: The door jambs & behind the rear license plate.

All I can say is WOW. The Color-X took off some shoe scuffs in the jambs that I hadn't been able to remove before, and the tar & embedded dirt that was behind the license plate basically wiped away. To add even more good news, when I buffed off the haze, the finish was CLEAN and slicker than snot :bigups

I can't wait to give this stuff a go with the PC on an entire car.

hmmm, ive always been interested in this product. is it something that you can get locally, or does it have to be purchased from somewehre special?

thanks

I saw it at Wal-Mart tonight.. managed to get out of there only with the 5qt container of Mobil 1 that I went in for. It was hidden away on a bottom shelf.

Chee - I don't think there is any wax in it. Some have said it is comparable to AIO in the sense that it cleans and leaves behind some protection.

It definitely has some protective qualities in it. I think it is synthetic not natural, but I cannot remember exactly. A lot like AIO, but much cheaper and you can't (as far as I know) use it on plastic.

Yep, it has some "wax" in it for sure. I would also guess that it is a synthetic wax. :dunno

According to Meguiars, it's a relatively strong, one-step cleaner with a polymer/wax blend.

Dodge Durango

I just used it on this truck, and I "tested" it on the roof with a polishing pad & the PC set @ 6 :bigups :bow :headbang
