midnight sun spray wax (revisited)

PA DETAILER

DETAILED TODAY?
i dont know. i am really catching on to it and believe i have the application down pat. most hate the overspray and white powder it can leave behind. (me included!). i did two coats. one yesterday and just got done with one this morning. i spritz in on the panel about 5"-6"away in short bursts. then so it does not flake and leave the white powder, i spread it out using a good size MF towel and buff to a streak free shine. only takes me about 15 to 20 min. and the shine it leaves behind is insane. it does require a learning curve, but you will be left behind with a STUNNING finish with min. effort. :bigups

on a side note i have read of some using the whole can for one application! using this short burst method, a can should last SEVERAL applications.

the mssw leaves such a great finish, i can put up with any overspray and dusting, but your short burst method sounds good. i'm still waiting for an all liquid bfms wax though. :)

I never have any dusting issues with Midnight Sun. I do one panel at a time with no issues at all. Do one panel. Move on to next. Return to first panel as it hazes. DONE :)

Seems like BF used to have an Ivory Carnauba spray Cleaner/Wax. Is it still available? Now it seems to have changed strictly to a spray wax? I liked the cleaner wax for my motorcycle for quick clean ups for bugs, etc. between stops. Bike/vehicle didn't have to been bone clean prior to use.

i used the older version of bf ivory carnauba spray cleaner wax too and yes, it was definitely more of a cleaner/polish with a little wax added. i used it for my motorcycle too and no, it's no longer available, but you still can't beat the finish that the new spray wax leaves. i usually keep a bottle of rinseless wash around now for cleanups.
