Microfibers for instument cluster plastic?

I was wanting to see what microfibers you all use to clean the clear plastic face of instrument clusters and other gauges with. In the past I have used an ONR QD mix solution with some of the Cobra Super Plush Deluxe 600 puprple MFs that Autogeek sells. It seems that Autogeek changed microfiber suppliers over time, becuase the older Deluxe 600 towels that were purple with the purple border were great (very soft and non linting). The Deluxe 600 towles that they sell now, which are purple with a black border on them are garbage, leave lint like crazy and don't really feel as soft. Microfiber lint on instrument cluster = no bueno and very annoying.

Who makes a good MF towel for this kind of use, and what do you all use?

im not a cobra fan at all...i find them to be just as coarse as a cheap MF towel, and mine are all full of pulls. i actually only use them for dirty jobs now.

i like the panda's and blue angora's from CarPro, as well as the ultima and sonus towels...very soft and good quality, and they should do you fine on the cluster guages.

if you want a treat, get some of the MF Madness towels. they are worth the extra money.

^ agreed. so many other places to find quality mf towels these days. autogeek would be the last place i buy from and they're over-priced as well...

I have used blue microfiber hand bonnets for wiping down my dash, instrument column, etc. They are super soft. Can be picked up at Auto Zone and I am sure EBay. Just throw them in the washing machine when I am done. They work great!

Canadian Tire up here sells a cheap towel that comes in white & blue. Wash them first , cut off the tags and I just mist them lightly with the Woolite / water mix and they do a great job.. no lint .. no marring and they act like a dust/lint magnet.

Autoality has a blue edgeless MF that is super soft with long fibers that works great on the plastic and it's only $6.45 if I remember correctly.
