Well my excel microfiber towles are starting to shedd after a year of use, so is it time to replace? When do you guys replace your towels?

Just to check on condition, I will give my "shedding" towels a deep cleaning - hot water with vinegar in the rinse cycle. If they still continue to shed then they are demoted to cleaning wheels or the undercarriage.

do you guys wash your towels separtely depending on what they were used for ?

Sometimes i only have like 2 towels used on wheels and i can't justify putting 2 twoels in the washer.

Is it bad to mix them with the polish/wax buffing towels ?

Thanks for the reply, I always wash in warm water with vinagar so I guess I'll just mark them with a permanant marker to use these for my wheels.

jokka-I just wash all my towels together, even the ones that are caked on with dirt. Never had any issues with my good towels marring my paint washing it with the "other" towels.
