mickey thompson rims stained at carwash..HELP!

Hello,



Recently took truck to commercial handsfree carwash :nixweiss (before I was introduced to this site). Everything looked fine until I got home and I noticed that there were marks on my rim. Looks like water stains, but in the finish (not rough to the touch). I figured no problem and broke out the powerball with mothers aluminum polish. I worked on them forever with no result.



What happened? Do you folks have any product or technique suggestions?

btw: the rims are polished no clearcoat.

I do not have any pics at the moment, but I will take some and post them. Yes, it was the power metal aluminum polish
 
I've had pretty good luck with Power Metal on my polished (uncoated) aluminum wheels. I'm anxiously awaiting pics. How fast were you spinning the Powerball while polishing?
