Mercedes S55, Chevy 2500HD, Mazda3, Escalade, new Werkstatt stuff tested

Yeah, long time Andrew! :wavey

Prime and Acylic Jett on silver. I haven't found a combination yet that looks better. Durability is really good too. Looks killer on white as well....

Hi Scott,

Thanks for the really quick reply! So I understand Prime and Acrylic Jett on silver. What about Acrylic Jett Trigger instead of the Acrylic Jett? I am looking for an easy but GREAT looking final step product.

Scott - Thanks for your valuable input! :bow :bow

Cheers,

Scott,

By the way, no fair using just sprayed silver paint for your posts! :)

I have not been here for a long time but your details seem to have gotten better than ever!!! :bow :bow

Keep up the Great Work!!!

Cheers,

Andrew-as far as I can tell, AJ-Trigger looks exactly like AJ but is as easy to use as Optimum Car Wax or a QD. I don't know if the spray application compromises durability but over Prime as a base, I imagine it would still be pretty good.

Hey Scott:

I am a first timer to detailing and it is obvious you know what you're talking about. I was originally planning on going with AIO + SG but now I've decided to try out Werkstatt. I have a 06 accord cpe (nighthawk black pearl).

Plan is getting Prime Carnauba, but should I follow through with Carnauba Jett or Acrylic Jett? I also read that another layer of wax would probably not be needed, but if I added something like Natty's Blue, would it make big of a difference?

Personally, I'd either go with Prime Carnauba and Carnauba Jett or regular or strong Prime and AJ. I believe AJ is fine over Prime Carnauba but since I haven't tested it, I can't personally say there are no bonding issues.

I've only topped AJ once and that was with Pinnacle Paste Glaz. Looked really good, so I imagine NB would look terrific too.
