we received the visit of a german beauty, having very hazy, yellowed headlights, with scratches. And this was doing no justice to the look of this ride. We had to restore the same to a new look.

Thanks for sharing, they came out great. Which process/products did you use to clear them?

Thanks for your kind and encouraging words dc52. still learning the trade here ;)

My process was as follows:

1. Wash & clay
2. Wetsand with 1500 grit (very little effect)
3. Go down to 800 grit
4. then back to 1500 grit until 800 grit marks no longer visible
5. repeat the process with 2000 grit, followed by 2500
6. test spot using Makita rotary Menz PG S34A on LC orange 4" pad
(Tried Optimum hyper compound LC orange, it simply doesn't work well for me, best suited for wool pad)
7. followed by Menz 203s on LC wool 4" pad to get the best out the wool pad's correction ability and smoothness of Menz 203s)
8. Finished with Menz PO85rd on LC white
9. Sealed with Menz PowerLock

cheers :)
