Hey AT,
First off, welcome to DC! :welcome
What you need to start with is a mild/moderate polish. I'm personally a big fan of the Poorboy's line. For a chemical cleaner, you should try Poorboy's Professional Polish. Very easy to use, and it can be done in the sun. You can apply it with a foam applicator pad, and then remove by a Microfiber towel. From there, I would protect the area/car with a good sealant and/or carnuba wax. You should be good from there!
Have a good one and good luck! Let us know how it comes out---
P.S. Nice mileage on that ride!
