Menzerna FP/IP Tips Needed

I used this awhile back but it's been sitting on my shelf cause it was such a bear to work with. Seems like alot of folks are using it with some degree of sucess.

Any tips/tricks you can provide. What speeds are you using on your PC. It seems like FP/IP behave better at slower speeds vs *6*. The hardest thing about FP for me was the removal. I'm planning to try this again at a slower speed and working it in longer to see if goes.

I never had a problem using both IP and FP.

heres the procedure i use. hope it helps.

:I set my PC between 5 and 6

:Prime my pad with a final inspection (or any qd)

:apply one thin line of product in the middly of the pad

:working on a small area at a time, i work the product until its

almost gone. (very little residue left on the paint)

:then buff with a MF towel. (no water or alcohol needed)

:After polishing the whole car, I qd the entire car with final inspection to remove anything left by the FP.

:I then proceed to apply my wax or sealant.

I found FP is a breeze compared to IP. I just work FP until it is just dust (rather like DACP). While wiping final residue with MF the paint squeeks like a stuck pig, literally.

SLIM -- I'll try your method next time I use IP (or his "big brother")

Thanks

Just make sure you KEEP working them in. Try not to buff unless it is 90 % dry. If you still have a residue, then mix 50% water to 50% isopropyl alcohol. That will take off all residue on the IP but not the FP. Dont use the water alcohol mix on the FP.
