i have an 01 nissan frontier i just bought in silver. i ve been deatailing for about 5 yrs and have been using ardex and collinite products strictly. i just found out about tihs site and picked up some menzera intensive polish and hte final polish II i figured id give these 2 a shot then follow up with 2 coats of 845. i want the truck really to POP will this do the job or should i be using different products. the paint is in great original shape as is just that the previous owner didnt have a fresh coat of wax on it. any input greatly appreciated thakns.

i ve always heard that using 845 insulator wax then apply 476 on top of it is the ultimate in protection has anyone else been doing this??

The Menzerna polishes are great for defect correction and finishing down to a crystal shapr finish by rotary. They key is keeping the speeds down to get the sharpest finish - I will owkr ht Final POlish II at no more than 1500rpm until the residue starts to go clear and then reduce the peed to no more than 1000rpm for a couple of finishing passes to refine the finish.

The Collinite waxes are an excellent choice for silver paint, I have a silver car myself and really liked the finish the Collinite 476S gave on well prepped paintwork. A wet and deep looking finish.

If you are after the best in metallic flake pop however, then the best product I have used for this has been 1Z Glanz Wax. I use this on my alloys mainly as I love the way it allows the flake to pop through. But having said this, the Collinite will allow good flake pop as well.

ya i ve been using the 476 for a long time now, im gonna give the 845 by itself a try. i was thinking ill use a medium cut pad for the intensive then swithc the finishing type pad for the findal polish II(is that considered a glaze?)
