Anyone still use MPL?

How's it stack up against other sealants in its price range?

Any good traits or glaring deficiencys?

Looking to buy a small bottle.

If I am applying a sealant, I prefer Powerlock. I've had clients who bring me their cars once per year and seen it last a full year. Cars that sit outside all day but are well maintained.

This sealant is awesome IMO. I tried BFWD for the first time recently and hated it in comparrison. Too thin for black foam and more difficult to apply because of that. MPL I've seen last 6months and still going strong on a garaged car.

The 16 oz bottle is about $25 I think and lasts a long time.

I have opti-seal too to try and will get to that soon too.

I actually stopped using and selling it completely. I love Menz polishes, but Power Lock doesn't last a month here in Seattle.

John, what's your favorite sealant for Washington weather?

There's always going to be the next "new" product and champs of yesteryear eventually run out of juice. As more advanced sealants come out, PL becomes old technology. I just purchased my first bottle after using Poxy forever. Not as easy to remove as Poxy and it smells like a solvent/chemical, but I still like it. By the time I'm done with this bottle, there will be some new kid on the block that I'll try.

I live in Sunny San Diego, so durability doesn't mean anything to me. My car is taken care of regularly and any client I have is treated the same. I wish I had a bottle of Poxy to compare, but after coating it with PL, I seriously don't think my car has ever looked this good.
