Menz FG400...question?

So got my hands on some of this and wanted to try it out on the hood my ladies ride where a rock kicked up and caused a good long scratch, not overly deep at all but long! Figured I'd do the entire hood as a result.

So what's the work time? I have lots of stuff on hand but I really want to try this stuff out finally! I've read and seen 6-8 passes, typically menz instructions ?and would a tangerine hydro pad be okay? Or should I use my microfiber discs?

Any help is much appreciated!

I haven't been impressed with FG400 on MF pads but very impressive with foam. Tang should work fine. It does take time to break down. I usually make slow passes at first so usually about 6 total with the last two being faster. FG400 is outstanding for a one step. If something requires more aggressiveness I would go with a non diminishing polish and follow with finishing polish.

No problem, I'd say that Todd pretty much exhausted that subject matter and his writeups are always great material.
