Meguire's ColorX ???

My red 1977 Corvette has some light oxidation on the hood. I have tried Klasse AIO and

Mothers Reflections Polish. The Mothers seems to have worked better than the AIO, but both products are still not removing the oxidation. I'm doing the car by hand and probably if I used one of those about 7 times, the oxidation would be gone.

Would the new Meguires ColorX be better and can I apply by hand? Where can I purchase the Meguire's ColorX? Any place locally or do I have to order on-line?

Thanks

That is oldd because the mothers isn't really considered a true polish, instead it's a LSP with a little bit of cleaning. AIO is considered the stronger cleaner of the bunch.

ColorX does have strong cleaning abilities, and MAY be able to help your situation out. Make sure you use it with a terry towel, if using by hand, to get the extra cleaning action.

And if you're really serious about restoring your car, think about getting a Porter Cable 7424 and start reading!

Also, if you're looking for a place to buy colorx..

It could be found at:

Target

Wal-Mart (bleh)

Autozone

Advanced Auto

Pep Boys

+ many more places
