Hello everyone. I was killing time on ebay today and found meguiars ultimate wipe. Check out the package. Swirl Remover?? haha. Swirl Free perhaps, but thats not even for sure.

I am pretty sure they are referring to Swirl Remover in the context that it will remove the Swirl Remover residue after buffing. The wording is a bit odd if you ask me.

Yep, I think that's it. They were actually a pretty nice towel. Especially for removing an LSP. They provided a nice "buff". I like thinner towels for LSP's. :D

Edit: They were also nice on glass with a liquid (not foam) glass cleaner.

Just my 2 cents.

That sounds about right. I wonder thought if it was a scheme to attract buyers who dont know better. FWIW i looked and found that not all the ultimate wipes come in this package.

What's difference does it make (liquid vs foaming)?

Has anyone seen or tried the new Duo-Fiber Super Glass Towel? Thoughts/comments?

I like a "thicker" towel with the foams. As a matter of fact, I like to use a WW towel with foam window cleaners.

OK I get it, so it is a preference vs a performance issue.

I hadn't noticed a difference and was wondering. I switch between several (6) different glass cleaners, 2 foaming and 4 liquids and use both terry and WW mfts.

Well, for me, the liquids seem to perform better with the thinner towels and the foams seem to perform better with the thicker knap towels.

However, you are correct. For some, it will be a matter of preference and others may not notice a difference either way.

:bigups Have you tried the "Huck" aka surgical towel product? 100% cotton (non mf) woven towel. I've also just added a dozen to my glass cleaning kit. So far so good.

Nope, haven't tried them yet.

I will be trying the new Meguiar's Duo Fiber (cotton/MF blend) Glass towel soon.
