Meguiars Nxt tech protect interior review

So last night i bought some nxt tech protect thinking I would try somthing new so here is a quick review of the products

Pakage: Cool colous I really liked the purple and green combo (sorry no pics yet) Has a nice logo

Contains: Polysiloxane, Petroleum distilates, Dipropylene gylcol methyl ether accate

Aplication: I followed directions of spaying it onto a rag or sponge, I used an Adams Sponge. Then i rubbed it onto the interior plastic,Vynl and rubber in my car. After I did the whole interior I went back and wiped exess off.

Texture: This product had a weird texture, it was a thick oily sludgey product. I was a little aprihensive (sp) about using it on my car but I though I would try it anyway and give a review.

Smell: I loved the smell it was fruity smell. I really ejoyed it, however it did say on the back to wear a mask which i did not do. Im not sure if its just Megs protecting themselves or if I should actually wear one, but i didnt

Look: I liked how this products came out, a little deepr a shine then Poorboys Natural look (just comparing it to somthing everyone knows) It left a nice deep finsh. Personlay I like nl more i think it looks nicer howver if you want somthing a little more glossy this may be your choice

Pros: not to expensive (about $13 canadain), can be bought at local Canadian tire. Smells good, a nice shine

Cons: what its made of, the texture and thickness of product

Overall: im not to sure i would ever buy it again. I think I will personaly stick with Nl. I am still looking for somthing a litte glossier. I did like the smell but not the product overall. I think this is a product that needs to be rethought and remade

I would love some comments, questions. Also if anyone could tell me if this product is safer for my car. im not to sure with the ingridents so I would love some feed back
Thank you

If you want something a bit more glossy than Poorboy's Natural Look, you may want to try Vinlyx.

I actually like it on my tires too!

Or maybe even Regular water-based Armorall. Should be a heck of lot nicer and easier to work with than NXT Protectant and not as shiney/greasy like.

I have not tried the Meg's NXT Tech Protect but have been using the Rubber and Vinyl Cleaner Conditioner for years. It does a great job of cleaning and has somewhat of a shine to it. I purchased a bottle of the Meg's Quik Interior Detailer today to try out just to see how it varies from the RVCC. I have tried a few of the NXT products and the only one so far i like is the glass cleaner.

i have the tech protect and i felt the same, oily and a little more shine then i like . i have used almost a hole bottle of it now and it seems to collect dust real bad too. i like pb's or aa much better... just my 2 cents!

That NXT Teck Protectant is nasty stuff. It is not like the thin milky water based products that are so common now like 303, Vinylx, Mothers, the newer Armor All, etc. It reminds me of the older greasy protectants that were garabage for your plastic and rubber. I avoid this stuff.

Yea, I got a bottle of it. The results aren't bad so I'll keep using it till I run out, but then I'll switch to 303 cause it is some slick sh*t. If you get it on your hands, oh man. Better have some lava soap.

well the other day i decided my interior needed to be done. So i went to go dress the dash and found that it had a white huge to it, kinda weird but i shrugged it off. I then put some NL on and it wouldnt work, just smered all over. The NXT had closed all the pores of my dash. I had to get in there with a terry cloth and 1/3 a bottle of Pb APC, and some Simple Green. It took me 1.5 hrs to scrub it all off, and even then the pores of my car arnt right (yes there are pores in the vynal dash) I think it need another scrubbing.

Final thoughts: Dont waste your money, not worth it, try somthing better.

P.S does anyone know how i can fix my dash, I was thinking a few more times with the apc and some NL, I guees will see
